Okay, so I've bought Pocahontas DVD at the day of its release, and I've watched it already 3 times I think. The quality is wonderful (widescreen ftw) but then, there isn't any really good extra. It's disappointing but at least I have the movie.

What more... oh, I feel the most noob person ever. I'm still playing Devil May Cry 3, this time at Normal Mode, and I haven't managed yet to defeat Beowulf. I hate this damn boss.

Also, there's a fanfic I'd like to recommend. It's called "Everyday Love", by Priesstess Skye, and it's based on the picutre series by YoukaiYume. Yeah, as you imagined it's Sesshoumaru & Kagome and this fic gets even more wonderful at every chapter. My favorite so far is chapter 16, "Insanity", and you'll understand why if you read it. Can someone explain to me WHAT THE HELL is this stupid Musical Masterpiece Edition? Geez, a dvd with just the movie and the lyrics? Nor to mention the HORRIBLE covers. But let's get to another point...
I think no one outside Brazil knows but Pocahontas was never released as dvd here. There were 2 VHS versions and that was it. But wait, they're finally going to release it in May. YAAAAAAY, right? NO. After years and years waiting, wishing for the 10th Anniversary Edition, we'll finally be able to buy it BUT IT'S THIS STUPID MUSICAL MASTERPIECE EDITION, WITHOUT ANY EXTRAS OR THE BEAUTIFUL SCENE WHERE THEY SING "If I Never Knew You". FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE, I wanna kill everyone in Disney who made this and decided that us in Brazil would receive just this damn edition. Pocahontas is my favorite Disney Classic and the American Platinum Edition is so awesome it gives me the chills. I was dying for them to release it here but unfortunately it seems Disney doesn't like us.

But even though I'm mad about nearly everything in this stupid edition, I'm going to buy it. My VHS simply disappeared and I really want the movie with a good quality. At least it's widescreen... (I had mistaken it with fullscreen at first, lol to me) Once again, my dreams didn't come true. [/drama]

I'm still trying to figure out what I'm feeling after reading this. I mean, I defend downloads and I'll ever defend, 'cause this is a way to know a band. I wouldn't be a fan of 90% of the bands I am if I hadn't downloaded any song. But then, there's nothing like having the real stuff: cds, dvds, anything you can really touch. But I understand that, when it comes to jmusic, it's more complicated 'cause importing is really expensive. The only things I have are D'espairsRay "Mirror" and "Spiral Staircase #15" 'cause they were released in US so a webstore of my country was and still is importing. (with a lower price) And most jmusic fans are young so they don't really have a job to pay anything. (I myself don't have one yet but I have how to pay most of the things I buy... ~~but it's my personal life and it doesn't matter now~~)

I know there are people who die to buy the releases from the artists they like and I know they'll do it when they get the money. (that's what I'm gonna do) But I also know that there are people who don't want to buy anything and just download as crazy. Okay. When the release will cost really expensive ('cause of the shipping and, if you live in another country, the money's conversion which usually will cost you the double) you don't have any other possibility but download the music. You wouldn't lose your time downloading if you didn't like the band, but you like and wanna hear it, and since that are people who upload... But I know most of fans gets upset with it (not being able to buy), and I can tell for that controversial post at alice nine's community. (I guess it works with every fanbase...?) But when the release is cheap, which is the case of most digital releases, you can afford it. XodiacK's release at HearJapan was really cheap and I could pay it. ~~but I'm so addicted to them I'd have bought a real single any way~~ Plus, the file comes with a lot of photos so I guess any fan shouldn't complain at all. Then I read that article...

I feel myself divided right now, but all I can say is I'm kinda sad. I thought the single would sell well 'cause sooo many people were talking about them. (search XodiacK on Google and you will find some sites) I cannot but totally agree with Nathan. In this case, it was truly accessible to all. It's not like "Let's give all our money to bands" but I think that you should pay when you can... I mean, they're making a living out of music and we can't act all the time like it's okay to just download. I download to know bands and because I can't really buy anything so expensive right now. (I'm talking about importing) But I'll certainly buy everything I like when I have the money or when it's cheap and I know it'll be worth it. I'm not telling you're forced to buy everything, it's hypocritical, but when you like an artist's work I think the natural thought is to support him/her/them to keep doing more good work.

Count Cain's ending

Today ~~(well, by the time it should be yesterday but since I didn't sleep yet for me it's still today)~~ I bought the 13th and last volume of Count Cain. This is one of my favorite mangas ever, from one of my favorite mangakas ever, Kaori Yuki.

Okay, after dinner I started reading but then some things happened and it took me a few hours to end up. My only reaction till now is:

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG CAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN! RIFF! JEZEBEL! EVEN YOU, ALEXIS! (I always liked him without knowing the reason since he tortured my beloved Cain so much, but now I know why... that crazy bitch, I'd torture her my entire life if I could (you'll only know what I'm talking about if you read the end))

I'm still shocked and I'll be shocked for the entire week. *dramatic person* Really, I don't know what I was expecting for a ending but surely wasn't it... it's not bad, y'know, in a way I kinda liked it but also hated. Kaori Yuki always put so much emotion on her characters... I swear I almost cried, especially with Creadore's words that finished the story. I kept looking at the last 4 pages for minutes... That bond between Cain and Riff is surely the most intense feeling I've ever seen in a manga. It's something I can't even describe, but it's really special and precious. And the best thing about it is that it wasn't some kind of passion or love... they really cared for each other because they could understand and heal each other's pain. It was something beyond any family tie.

Okay, I think I got too much into it... can't help it. I'm obsessed and addicted to mangas, and Count Cain is one of the best things I've ever read in my life. I will probably read everything again after I wake up.

I was wanting to write a post about them for a while but was too lazy to do it... Well, now I finally decided to.

First, who are XodiacK?
XodiacK is a new Japanese band that describe their sound as galaxy metal. They formed in mid-2008 and distributed a song, 黒い太陽 (Kuroi Taiyou / Black Sun) in November through the digital download site HearJapan. They performed in masks, except the vocalist, and cloaks without releasing any information about themselves until January 1st, 2009, when they revealed themselves and released their first single, ～終わりの始まり～ (Owari no Hajimari / The Beginning of the End), also exclusively on HearJapan.

The Absolute: Eros (vocals)
Eros arose from a parallel universe with limitless powers after the advent. Eros is a superior being with infinite powers, therefor Eros is the Absolute!

They're always posting blogs with news.
Although they have few songs by now, you can see after listening to them that they're very promising. The songs are awesome and addicting, a band that you really need to look foward.
I'm wanting to see so badly their live that was aired January 10th on Japan! I'm searching it like crazy but wasn't able to find it yet... well, I'll keep searching. I'm kinda obsessed with them now, and surely I'll buy everything I can. e_e Okay, so: give a listen to their music. If you don't like, you can just move around to hear another band.

Changing the issue, I think I'm gonna be depressed again... why did Keane have to go back to Brazil? And with 3 concerts confirmed? Why do I have to be so poor that I can't even travel to see them? I already lost their shows on 2006 april... oh, I hate my life.

L - Change the World

So this week I've finally watched L - Change the World, the third live action of Death Note and a spin-off. Well, although it's a new plot I really liked it. Matsuyama Kenichi definitely is the perfect actor for L. Lawliet <3 The girl who performed Maki also is a good actress, but I have to say that the little boy who was Near... man, he's so ugly. I hate Near but I wish they could have chose a better boy. Anyway, the movie is a little repetitive for using a mortal virus like the main theme, but I liked Kimiko's reasons. Y'know, sometimes I just wish humanity to vanish just like her... the other characters weren't that important, they're just stereotypes to me. But although I did like the movie I think both plot and characters could have been better developed.
Like a L-fangirl I really enjoyed so much scenes with him (Kenichi looks really hot like L <3) but his lasts days were almost forgotten while they tried to focus on the other events. Kimiko's motivations and her mysterious connection with Watari were the only thing they showed about her, but didn't explain if she did live on the same orphanat as L or something like that. And wtf was that about F, I and so many others 'agents'? Bad explained things like that are a bit annoying, but indeed the movie is really enjoyable. I loved to see a more human side of L and the funny moments along the movie like L trying to babysitting and the escape on the pink van. Compared to the past two live actions I think this was the best. (especially because Tatsuya weren't there, he totally ruined Raito. It tore my heart apart because I love Raito too and Tatsuya made him look a totally idiot and ugly guy. *runs away from Fujiwara fans*)

Oh this Wednesday a famous writer visited my school, Marcio Souza. I think he's pretty known outside. I got to take a picture with him and me plus another class made some questions. He's an amazing and respectable person, I think I won't forget this day. I felt more motivated to become a writer. I'm still writing fanfics, but I already have original stories and characters. Someday I'll write them...

Not that it really matters, but today's my mother and grandma's birthday. Yeah, they were born on the same day. Happy birthday to them.

Spiral Staircase #15 Final

My D'espairsRay DVD finally arrived this Tuesday. The live is simply fantastic, they have so much energy that it seems to overflow through the tv. Zero cannot stop himself at the stage any minute, I love him so much. <3 Hizumi can sing wonderfully while jumping, I really admire him. Karyu also cannot stop moving, it's funny to see him running or shaking his head. And Tsukasa also is very energetic, although he's always hiding behind drums. XD I just felt a little sad because the DVD don't have so much extras or off shots, but it's worthy anyway. I still hope I can see them live someday...
Talking about D'espa, they released a PV for Brilliant! Well, it's not a 'real pv', it's just a live of the song, but it's very nice and at least they made something. But what I'm really expecting is the new single of alice nine., "Rainbows". <3
Changing the issue, today I've read the first volume of Cesare, a Souryou Fuyumi's manga, which tells the history of the Borgia family, through a character named Angelo de Canossa, which I think it's fictional. (I haven't searched it yet) I had already read about this family and watched a movie, so despite the fact I'm a huge fan of Fuyumi-sensei what lead me to read this was my big interest in this family's history. Any litthe search about them surely will have the essential to let you very curious. So read this manga, it's wonderful.
Well, these days I don't feel like posting, even with little interesting things happening. It's funny because in the past few days I was feeling really good. Now I'm feeling bored and depressed again. But I have a really important assignment to do the next days, so I'll probably be too busy to feel this way.
Hm... nothing else to say.

8 things I need to do before I die...

Well, I was intimated by a friend of mine to do a little game: tell 8 things I need to do before I die. XD I was supposed to indicate other 8 friends to do the same, but since I don't have all these people to do it (what can I say, my friendship circle is not that big) I decided to not ask anyone... Well, let's just do it.

1. Publish at least one of my stories.
2. Meet the wonderful friends I made through internet.
3. Go to all my favorite bands concerts. Especially the j-rock ones!
4. Have a chance to talk to at least one of my idols. (it's a bit impossible, but who knows...)
5. Travel to a lot of countries, and, maybe, live in one of them.
6. Increase my drawning, at least to a good level. (I wonder if I can be a professional...?)
7. Be in a band.
8. Find a person (preferably pretty) to share good moments, or maybe a life. (aah, it's so shoujo!)

I guess these are the basic things... I don't know, maybe some of them are a bit futile, but what can I do, it's what I want and no what I believe that can come true. Hm, maybe I shoud write it in a paper and read it everyday, then I could be a little more persistent in my useless life.
Ah, whatever.

My birthday is coming... I asked my grandma to give me D'espairsRay dvd "Spiral Staircase". I'm so fucking anxious to watch it! (counting down the days) And then there's the alice nine.'s new dvd... I think I will ask it for Christmas (evil smile) since I have a lot of other things to pay. ~~(it's serious, I love my videogame but I won't have much money tor these next months...)~~
However... I don't have interesting things to say. Fucking useless and boring life.
